Merit Calculator (Undergraduate)

The merit shall be determined on the basis of academic record and performance in the written test. The formula for calculating merit shall be as under: -30:70 i.e. 30% weightage to the Matriculation marks and 70% weightage to the Intermediate Part-I marks.

Formula for Calculating Merit (For LLB)

Merit    =     (MOM/TM)  x 20  +   (MOF/TM)  x 50 +   (LOM/TM)  x 30

Formula for Calculating Merit (For Other Undergraduate Programme)

Merit    =     (MOM/TM)  x30  +   (MOF/TM)  x70

Where:

MOM = Marks obtained in Matric or equivalent
MOF = Marks obtained in HSSC (Part-I) or equivalent
LOM = LAT obtained Marks
TM = Total Marks in the relevant Examination
