Allocation of seats or maximum number of students in a class would be decided/determined by the Departments/School/Centre/Institute after assessing the availability of faculty, facilities of space and equipment’s and economic implications.
50% of total number of seats in each Department/School/Centre/Institute shall be filled on Merit and merit-based provincial quotas.
50% of total number of seats in each /School/Centre/Institute shall be filled on merit-based self-finance scheme, irrespective of the provincial/regional quota.
Result awaiting students will also be admitted on the basis of Intermediate Part-I passed result in each Department/Institute/School/Centre.
If any seat reserved for regional quota remains unfilled due to non-availability of eligible candidate after displaying of 3rd merit list, with the recommendations/approval of Core Admission Committee, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, be transferred to the Merit Quota in the 4th merit list.
If any seat reserved for special quotas remains vacant, it will be filled through self-finance scheme.
