QAU Alumni Association has Established a Flood Relief Fund
For the Students of QAU those Who Belonging to the Flood Affected Areas of Pakistan
Quaid-i-Azam University Alumni Association (Pakistan) has established a Flood Relief Fund to extend every possible help to the students of Quaid-i-Azam University belonging to the flood affected areas of Pakistan. Financial Assistance from the fund will cover academic fee, hostel dues and mess charges. This financial assistance is in addition to the already announced 15 need based scholarships for the students of the University belonging to the flood affected areas. Quaid-i-Azam University is a Federal University which has representation of students from all over Pakistan especially flood hit areas.
To make sure that only deserving students will be benefited from this assistance, the QAU Alumni Association will involve University Administration/Department Heads as well as National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in processing applications for financial assistance. Mr. Murtaza Noor, General Secretary of Quaid-i-Azam University Alumni Association, has appealed to the Alumni, Donors, Communities, NGOs and Corporate Sectors with means to open-heartedly contribute to the fund for students of the areas hit by one of the worst floods in the past 80 years. Philanthropists, resourceful people especially old students of QAU Islamabad should come forward and make generous donations and ensure that studies of students from the flood hit areas continue without any break because of financial constraints.
All those people, philanthropists and alumni who want to make donations, can deposit their contribution in the account of QAU Alumni Associations i.e. Bank Account no.0294-79003835-03 Habib Bank Ltd. Quaid-i-Azam University Branch, Islamabad.
Professor Dr. Masoom Yasinzai has appreciated the efforts of the QAU Alumni Association for welfare of the students of QAU belonging to flood affected areas of Pakistan.
