Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education and Professional Training, Ms. Rabia Naseem, MNA, visited Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, and met with Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor and Meritorious Professor, at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor highlighted QAU’s outstanding academic and research achievements, noting that despite financial constraints, the University continues to maintain its position as Pakistan’s top-ranked university due to its strong research culture and globally recognized scholarly contributions. He also apprised the Parliamentary Secretary of the University’s financial challenges and sought support for enhanced governmental assistance.

Ms. Rabia Naseem praised QAU’s significant contributions to higher education and research, emphasizing the importance of strengthening universities through progressive reforms and research advancement. She acknowledged QAU’s vital role in Pakistan’s knowledge economy and national development.
