Experts Call for Ethical Healthcare and Responsible Pharmaceutical Regulation at QAU Seminar
The One-Day National Seminar on Ethical Pharmaceutical Practices was successfully organized by the School of Sociology, Quaid-i-Azam University. The seminar featured distinguished speakers, including Chief Guest, Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, Dr. Zafar Mirza, Public Health Expert, Dr. Syed Tanseer Asghar, Samar Haroon Bilour, Member of the National Assembly, Ather Kazmi, Senior Journalist and Shifa Yousafzai, who shared valuable insights on ethical pharmaceutical practices, healthcare responsibility, media ethics, and public health challenges in Pakistan.
The seminar highlighted the importance of ethical healthcare systems, responsible pharmaceutical regulation, and collaborative efforts among academia, government institutions, media, and healthcare professionals in promoting a healthier society. The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to the distinguished guests in recognition of their valuable contributions and participation.
