Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, and Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), Karachi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation and promote collaborative initiatives.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, QAU, and Prof. Dr. Mujeebuddin Sahrai Memon, Vice Chancellor, SMIU. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in research, technical cooperation, continuing education, and community services.

Under the agreement, the two universities will explore opportunities for faculty and student exchanges, joint academic and research activities, conferences and seminars, and sharing of academic materials and research publications. The MoU also encourages joint efforts to promote an entrepreneurial ecosystem. Dr. Salma Malik, Director External Linkages, QAU also attended the meeting.
