ASRB Approves Award of PhD Degrees to 10 Researchers across Diverse Disciplines

The 395th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University. The meeting was attended by the Deans, Directors, Registrar, and senior faculty members.

The Board discussed key academic policies, strategies to enhance research productivity, and initiatives to strengthen the University’s research culture. During the meeting, the ASRB reviewed PhD evaluation reports and considered recommendations submitted by the Boards of Studies of various departments and affiliated institutes. The Advanced Studies and Research Board also confirmed the action of the Vice Chancellor regarding the award of PhD degrees to 10 scholars from various academic departments.

The degrees were awarded to Ms. Maryam Batool, Ms. Zahra Begum, Department of Chemistry; Mr. Mamoon Riaz, Department of Electronics; Mr. Babar Sultan, Department of Mathematics, Mr. Khadam Hussain, Department of Biochemistry; Mr. Salah ud Din, Department of Microbiology; Ms. Najeeba Paree Pakar, Department of Plant Sciences, Ms. Nibiha Abdullah, Ms. Saba Sohail, and Ms. Sibgha Batool, Department of Pharmacy.

The Vice Chancellor congratulated the scholars on earning their doctoral degrees and commended their dedication and commitment to academic excellence. He expressed confidence that the graduates would make meaningful contributions to research, innovation, and national development in their respective fields.
