Admission Notice for (Undergraduate) BS/LLB/Pharm.D Programme on Self Support Basis (Fall Semester–2026)

Applications are invited from Pakistani and Foreign Nationals for admission to (Undergraduate) BS/LLB on Self Support Basis Fall Semester in the following subjects by 18-08-2026 and to the PHARM-D Programme 29-09-2026. A candidate may apply for admission to BS/LLB programme with either a complete FA/F.Sc result or a part-1 (1st year) passed result, whereas admission to the Pharm.D Programme requires a complete FSc passed result. The merit for BS/LLB Programme will be calculated on the basis of 1st year marks, regardless of whether the student has completed F.A/F.Sc.

LAW Admission Test (LAT) For LLB Programme

  1. Applicants seeking admission to LLB are advised to register with HEC for the Law Admission Test (LAT). The details are available at “hec.gov.pk
  2. Admission to LLB (04-Years) program is subject to the submission of a valid LAT (Law Admission Test) result with a minimum passing score 50.

  4. Admission to the LLB program will be determined based on a merit list calculated using the following formula:-.
    1. Higher Secondary School certificate (FA/FSc) Part-I or Equivalent: 50%
    2. Higher Education Commission’s Law Admission Test (LAT): 30%
    3. Secondary School Certificate (SSC): 20%.

 

Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for BS/PHARM.D Programme

    1. Applicants seeking admission to BS/Pharm.D are advised to register with HEC for the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT). The details are available at “hec.gov.pk
    2. Admission to BS/Pharm.D program is subject to the submission of a valid USAT (Undergraduate Studies Admission Test) result, however it will not be included for merit calculation.
    3. Admission to the BS/Pharm.D programmes shall be determined strictly on the basis of merit, calculated in accordance with the following formula:-

(For BS)

      1. Higher Secondary School certificate (FA/FSc) Part-I result or Equivalent: 70%
      2. Secondary School Certificate (SSC): 30%.

(For Pharm.D)

    1. Higher Secondary School certificate complete (FA/FSc) result or Equivalent: 70%
    2. Secondary School Certificate (SSC): 30%.

 

How To Apply

  1. The applicants can apply through Online Application System at QAU website (qau.edu.pk). The applicant is advised to deposit Rs. 2860/- as application processing fee via online payment through Kuickpay or 1-Bill.
  2. The payment receipt must be uploaded on the online Admission form along with other scanned requisite documents; otherwise application will not be entertained.

General Information

  1. A person may apply for admission to BS/LLB program holding Part-I passed result or a complete FA/FSc result to Pharm-D Program from a Pakistani Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education or an equivalent from any other recognized Board with at least (50% marks and HSSC complete passed result with minimum 60% marks for Pharm-D Program or its equivalent grade shall be eligible for provisional admission to the undergraduate Programs of study. Students of A-Level are also eligible to apply with result awaiting option after uploading A-Level’s result within due date of left over documents their merit will be calculated according to IBCC formula by the University and they will have to submit IBCC equivalence certificate within 45 days after declaration of result.
  2. After selection the student will deposit the fee/dues online/manual in the University Account within the stipulated period/time.
  3. In case of admission on FA/FSc part-I basis after selection and depositing fee/dues in the University Account, the student will be required to pass the HSSC Examination (as a whole) with at least 50% marks for BS/ LLB. In case of less than 50% marks in HSSC, his/her admission will be treated as
  4. After selection and depositing fee/dues in the University Account, if the student of BS/LLB declared as FAILED in the HSSC Examination by the concerned Board, his/her admission will be treated as cancelled and the Fee/Dues deposited by him/her will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  5. After selection and depositing fee/dues in the University Account, the student will be required to submit his/her complete HSSC passed result card/DMC/IBCC equivalence certificate within 45 days after the declaration of HSSC result by the concerned Board/Authority in the Department/ Institute/ School/Centre (DISC). If the selected student failed to submit the required certificate his/her admission will be treated as cancelled. Chairperson of (DISC) will ensure that either student has submitted his/her complete result within due course of time otherwise he/she will initiate the case for the cancellation of admission.

Ineligibility

The following candidates shall not be eligible for admission to the BS/LLB/Pharm-D programs: –

  1. Candidates who have failed under the examination rules of this University. (See QAU Calendar or website: www.qau.edu.pk)
  2. Candidates who have ceased to be students of this University under its examination rules. (See QAU Calendar or website: www.qau.edu.pk)
  3. Candidates who already possess a BS, LLB, Pharm-D, or an equivalent degree from this or any other University.
  4. Candidates who are already enrolled in any program at this University.
  5. Candidates who have been expelled from the University on disciplinary grounds.
  6. Candidates who provide misleading information or submit forged/fake/tampered documents. The University reserves the right to cancel such admissions and expel the applicant (Student) at any time.
  7. The Vice-Chancellor reserves the right to cancel/refuse admission without assigning any reason.

 

Equivalence certificates and conversion of Grades into Marks

Applicants having foreign certificates are required to provide equivalence certificates and grades conversion into marks from the Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) for both Matriculation and Intermediate levels.

Subject Options

  1. An applicant can opt for a maximum of three choices of subjects on Self Support.
  2. The candidates selected on his/her choices will not be appeared in the subsequent list.
  3. Those who have deposited the fee/dues against subject options, then the other choices will be blocked/exhausted.
  4. Change of subject options during admissions process will be made with the approval of Chairman Admissions Committee.

 

Admissions on Self-Finance Basis

  1. Admissions on Self Support Basis shall be granted strictly on merit. The student of Undergraduate Self Support Programme will not be shifted to (Morning) Programme of the University under any circumstances.
  2. A limited number of seats shall be filled on self support basis in all the above-mentioned subjects only on merit irrespective of provincial/regional quota.
  3. Merit will be calculated at 30:70 ratio i.e. 30% weightage to the Matriculation marks and 70% weightage to the HSSC (Part-I) marks without giving any credit to the score (s) in Entry Test except LLB.

NOTE:-STUDENTS ADMITTED ON SELF FINANCE BASIS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE/SCHOLARSHIP.
 

Hostel Accommodation

The University Hostel accommodation will not be provided for the students of Undergraduate Self Finance Programme.

Important Instructions

  1. To avoid any inconvenience the candidates are required to upload all the required documents with Online Admission within stipulated time period.
  2. Please contact for information/queries related to admission process or for rectification of errors/mistakes in the online application form, email at admissions2026fall@qau.edu.pk by clearly stating the issue with subject of the email.
  3. No application will be received in Admission Section by hand or by Post/Courier. After expiry of last date no online application facility will be available in any case.
  4. No call letter/phone call shall be made separately for selection; applicants are advised to visit QAU website frequently.
  5. In case of cancellation of admission, the fee/dues will be refunded to the candidates as per QAU refund policy.
  6. The Nomenclature of BSBA may be changed to BBA subject to approval of statutory bodies.
