Admission Notice for MPhil at NIISS (Fall Semester-2025)
Applications from Pakistani/Foreign Nationals are invited for admission to MPhil Programme at the National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies QAU in the following discipline latest by 21-08-2025:

Admission Requirements
- To be eligible for admission to MPhil, a candidate:
- Shall possess an MA/Msc/BS degree as per eligibility requirement.
- Shall have obtained minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 out of 4.0.
- Shall not have obtained third division in any degree program.
- Each candidate shall make an application for admission in response to an advertisement by the university on a prescribed form along with documents specified in the form.
- Basic Academic Qualification: Sixteen years of schooling or 4-year education required for admission in the M.Phil program.
- Candidate has to pass the admission Test/Interview as an eligibility condition for admission to M.Phil program, with a passing score of 60%.
How To Apply
- The applicants can apply through Online Application System at NIISS website (niiss.qau.edu.pk). The applicant is advised to deposit Rs. 2650/- per each discipline as application processing fee via online payment through KuickPay or 1-Bill. However, if a student wishes to apply for more than one program, they must pay an additional amount of Rs.2650/- for each additional discipline.
- The payment receipt must be uploaded on the online Admission form along with other scanned requisite documents; otherwise application will not be entertained.
Subject Test/Interview
- 1. The admission to MPhil program shall be made on the basis of cumulative merit to be determined from previous academic record, written subject test and interview taken by the National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies (NIISS), the passing marks for subject test + interview would be at-least 60%
- A minimum score of 60% is required in the written test to qualify for an interview.
- No separate call letters for test/interview will be issued.
- The tentative lists of the pass applicants must be displayed on the notice board and at QAU website of the NIISS.
- Test sample papers are available on the NIISS website (https://niiss.qau.edu.pk/)
- Applicants appearing in the Entry Test must bring original CNIC for identification.
- If a test date is declared as holiday or for any reason, the test will be conducted on the next working day.
