Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat received Hilal-i-Imtiaz

Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat, Distinguished National Professor and Chairperson of Mathematics Department, at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) is renowned worldwide for his seminal, diversified and fundamental contributions in models relevant to Physiological Systems, Control Engineering, Climate Change, Nano Material, Renewable Energy, Low-carbon technologies and environmental issues.

He received PhD from QAU and Post Doc from Technical University, Darmstadt, Germany. His research work has high citations.  He has honor of being Fellow of TWAS, Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IWAS) and Pakistan Academy of Sciences in the Mathematical Sciences. His national and international recognition is evident by his membership of international and national Committees, numerous scholarships and fellowships, research projects, national and international conferences, established research collaboration with leading international scientists. He serves as the associate editor of the international journals and reviewer of 97 international journals. Dr. Tasawar Hayat produced maximum research students in the country in Mathematics including 121 MPhil and 4 PhD.

Dr. Tasawar Hayat has extensively published in national and international journals with total research publications 1959 including 1955 in international journals. The impact factor publications are 1893, Total ISI WEB citations of produced research 38272 with 4049.328 impact factor, ISI WEB h-index 80, Google Scholar Citations 52841 and Google Scholar h-index 97. Dr. Tasawar Hayat is the recipient of 21 international and 15 national awards and honors including Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2005 and Sitara-I-Imtiaz in 2010. He has also received Khwarizmi Int. award ISESCO Int. Award, COMSTECH Int. Award, TWAS Prize for young scientists, Alexander-Von-Humboldt fellowship, Distinguished National Professor, Abdus Salam Prize, ISESCO Int. Prize, Best Research Scholar by HEC, Best Teacher Award by HEC, several gold medals by different organizations and Honorary, Visiting professorships at South African, Malaysian, Turkey, Saudi Arabia.
