A meeting of the Deans and Chairpersons was held at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal. The meeting was attended by the Chairpersons, Directors of various academic departments and senior administration.

Addressing the participants, the Vice-Chancellor emphasized that the University will function strictly in accordance with its statutes, with discipline remaining a top priority. He assured that all genuine and legitimate issues will be addressed on a priority basis. Prof. Dr. Jaspal further highlighted that institutional productivity will be enhanced through effective governance, including increased student enrollment, improved research output, and a comprehensive review of academic programs.

He also noted that austerity measures have been implemented in line with government guidelines, and the administration will ensure strict monitoring of their implementation. The University is actively exploring innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to reduce energy consumption and operational costs across various sectors.
