A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and Southwest Petroleum University, China, to foster cooperative academic and research ventures.
In this regard, a distinguished five-member delegation from Southwest Petroleum University recently visited QAU for the official signing ceremony. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, and a representative of Southwest Petroleum University. According to the MoU Quaid-i-Azam University and Southwest Petroleum University will spearhead joint initiatives in pursuit of academic and research excellence. The collaboration will include faculty and student exchange and training programs.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Hameed, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Dr. Salma Malik, Director, External Linkages, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali, Director, Academics, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Director, Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), and Dr. Mumtaz Muhammad Shah, Chairperson of the Department of Geophysics attended the ceremony.
