QAU and SASSI University Inked MoU
Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) University have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic and research collaboration. This partnership marks a key milestone in fostering interdisciplinary cooperation and developing strategic ties between the two institutions. The MoU was signed in a ceremony by Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, QAU, Prof. Dr. Shabana Fayyaz, Chairperson of the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies (DSS), QAU, and Dr. Maria Sultan, Chairperson and President of SASSI University.
The collaboration is expected to create new avenues for joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges, and academic workshops. Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal highlighted the importance of this collaboration in building strong academic networks.
In addition to research collaborations, the MoU will open doors for QAU students to benefit from internships at SASSI University, providing them with hands-on experience in policy analysis, strategic studies, and other key areas. Dr. Salma Malik, Director, External Linkages, QAU, Senior faculty members and administrative staff also attended the meeting.
