Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University met with the students working as freelancers at the National Center for Bioinformatics, QAU. More than 120 registered freelancer students in attended the meeting.
Ms. Ayman Saroosh, an international award-winning freelancer from Pakistan and former student of Quaid-i-Azam University, graced the event as a special guest.
Dr. Syed Sikander Azam, Chairperson of Bioinformatics, emphasized the significance of freelancing and its contribution to the country’s digital economy.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhter addressed the gathering and commended the freelancers for their pivotal role in fostering a self-sustainable society.
The freelance students were actively engaged, offering valuable insights that were recorded by the designated focal person.
The Vice Chancellor also announced the establishment of the “QAU Freelancers Society” and expressed unwavering support for the freelance students.
