International Women’s Day marked at QAU

Students, faculty and staff came together and participated in a rally to recognize the achievements that women have made. The event was organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University led the walk. While addressing the participants the Vice Chancellor stressed the need for women’s empowerment by providing education. He said every one of us must show responsibility to overcome the gender roles and stereotypes for women and provide them equal opportunities to lead. Deans of the faculties, Director Students Affairs, Director Academics and senior faculty members attended the event.
