Highest Civil Awards Announced for QAU Faculty

The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has conferred Hilal-I-Imtiaz on Dr. Waseem Ahmed, Professor of Biochemistry, Dean Faculty of Biological Sciences QAU and Tamgha-I-Imtiaz on Dr. Bushra Mirza, Professor of Biochemistry QAU for meritorious contribution in the field of science. Hilal-I-Imtiaz is the second highest civilian award and honor by the Government of Pakistan. The investiture ceremony of these awards will take place on Pakistan Day, 23rd March, 2017.

A reception in this regard was also held at the Department of Biochemistry for recognizing and celebrating the excellence of the faculty members. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Javed Ashraf, senior faculty members, staff and students of the department attended the ceremony.
