Cafeteria And Shops

The University always tries to provide an accommodative environment for the students and has provided places for students to relax and eat. University Cafeteria and Snack Bar is located at the centre of the University where students enjoy meals and have social interaction while other canteens within the campus also provide them clean environment where they go and discuss academic and social issues with fellow students.
Meals and snacks at the Cafeteria are provided on subsidized rates with high food quality in hygienically good utensils. Special functions can also be arranged at the Cafeteria with more than 200 people. For infotainment and entertainment, a large LCD television is installed in Cafeteria where students enjoy matches, news, other programmes and entertainment. The Cafeteria always has attraction for old students where they memorize their time spent in the University.

Canteens:

The University offers a wide range of Canteens within and adjacent to the Hostels premises to serve the students. Among these canteens, some are purely for late night timings called as Night Canteens to offer variety of food to the students so that they may enjoy this facility even at odd timing or late night.

Hygiene Check:

Provision of hygienic food at the Campus is always priority of the University. A committee is deputed to look after such affairs and is responsible to check quantity, quality, cleanliness and observation of rates of food to be served in Canteens and Cafeteria.

Shops:

To facilitate the students (particularly those students residing in the hostels) the University has a wide range of shops within its premises including Barber shop, tailoring shop, fruit shops, canteens, laundry shop, photocopier and computer typing etc. Rates of different services provided in these shops are fixed and mostly subsidized which can be revised from time to time, if required by the University authorities.
