Building Bridges for Global Collaboration
Today, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) hosted a three-member delegation from the University of Leicester, UK. The delegation includeds Prof. Dr. Abdul Jabbar Dr Abdul Jabbar Dean of Internationalisation, University of Leicester School of Business, UK , Mr. Anthony Braybrook, International Students Lead, University of Leicester, UK and Mr. Asad Tahir Jappa PhD Researcher/GTA, University of Leicester School of Business, UK. The visit aimed at exploring opportunities for long-term strategic partnerships, focusing on joint degree programs, research collaboration, faculty and staff development, joint research initiatives, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The delegation met with senior officials at QAU, including Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali, Director of ORIC; Prof. Dr. Amir Ali, Director of Academics; Prof. Dr. Aziz Ur Rehman Director School of Law, Dr. Arfeen Director QAU business school and Prof. Ghani ur Rehman Director TIAC.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali Director Office of Research Innovation and Commercilsation (ORIC) gave presentation about the QAU and its academic and research activities and achievements.
This visit marks a significant step toward building a robust partnership between QAU and the University of Leicester, paving the way for impactful global initiatives, future of shared success, innovation, and excellence.
