Vice- Chancellor Inaugurates New Hostel Block for Students
The newly constructed building of boys hostel was inaugurated by QAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai here on Friday.
The hostel building along with external services has been completed at a cost of 72 million rupees with a covered area of 3700 square feet. It has 115 rooms along with Dining and recreation hall, study room, prayer hall for students. The hostel has the capacity to accommodate almost 230 students.
Speaking on the occasion the QAU Vice Chancellor said that a roadmap to provide necessary infrastructure in the campus is being prepared. He said the university administration is working very hard to get resources for new and ongoing development projects.
The Vice Chancellor directed the Works department to lay out a detailed plan to build a hostel for foreign students. “University would enhance the capacity to accommodate the foreign students in the campus “he added.
A number of faculty members, Deans, and officers of the University were present on the occasion.
