Area Study Centre, QAU and Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) Inked MoU

Area Study Centre for Africa, North and South America, Quaid-i-Azam University (ASC-QAU) and Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to improve the scientific and academic level of the two Institutes by introducing capacity building programs for students, researchers and faculty of both the institutions.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor, QAU and Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director General, ISSI, signed the MoU. According to the MoU both institutes will provide cooperation for research projects in specific fields of mutual interest while Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad would offer 6-8 weeks internship to the students of ASC-QAU. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, QAU, Director ORIC, and senior faculty members of the ASC-QAU attended the ceremony.
