The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan visits the QAU
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, His Excellency Erjan Qystapa, visited Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) to explore the prospects of academic collaboration between QAU and Kazakh universities. The visit aimed to enhance the relationship between the two countries through mutual academic cooperation.
During his visit, Prof .Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar (SI), the Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University, welcomed the ambassador and provided him with an overview of the university. He expressed his belief that academic collaboration would play a vital role in strengthening the bond between the two countries.
Initially, the areas of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Tourism Management were identified for collaboration with Kazakh universities.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Muazzam Ali Khan Khattak, Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), members of the Syndicate, and senior faculty members. The participants engaged in a constructive discussion on how to proceed with the proposed academic collaboration.
