S.A Malik Computational Biochemistry Lab Inaugurates

A ceremony for farewell to Prof. Dr. Salman Akbar Malik and Inauguration of the Dr. S.A Malik Computational Biochemistry Lab was held at Department of Biochemistry. The event was arranged to acknowledge the services of Prof. Dr. S.A. Malik for the University in general and Department of Biochemistry in specific. During the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasin Zai and Dean Faculty of Biological Sciences Prof. Dr. Asghari Bano paid tribute to Prof. Dr. S.A Malik for his services. Currently, the Computational Biochemistry Lab contains a total of 10 computers, of which 6 were acquired by Biochemist Association of QAU (BAQI) and 4 donated by Prof. Dr. S.A Malik. During the Inauguration and Farwell ceremony, the Vice Chancellor announced a donation of 10 computers for Dr. S.A Malik Computational Biochemistry Lab. The Vice Chancellor also said that establishing these Labs will facilitate students in the field of Computational Biochemistry.
