Newly elected body of Officers Welfare Association (QAU) takes oath

The oath taking ceremony of newly elected body of Officers Welfare Association (OWA) Quaid-i-Azam University was held here on Saturday. Quaid-i-Azam University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai administered the oath to newly elected offices bearers.

While addressing the ceremony the Vice Chancellor said that QAU administration is working very hard to get resources for University to expedite development and welfare projects for employees.

He said employees and management should work together for development and expansion of the university. He assured the employees that all their genuine demands would be addressed at the earliest.

The newly elected office bearers who took oath included Mr. Rana Zia Javed, President, Mr. M. Saeed Khan, Vice-President, Mr. Musa Khan Tahir, General Secretary, Mr. Imdad Ali, Joint Secretary, Mr. M. Sajid, Finance Secretary and Mr. Arif Saeed Butt, Press & Cultural Secretary.

The Executive Council consisted of Mr. M. Sharif Chohan, Syed Ghayur Hussain Shah, Mr. M. Taib, Ms. Shaista Malik, Mr. Nazar Abbas Zaidi, Mr. Shahid Mahmood, Mr. Fayyaz Khan, Mr. Fayyaz Muhammad, Syed Nisar Ahmad, Mr. M. Bashir Khan, and Mr. Anis-ur-Rehman.

Among others QAU Registrar Dr. Shafiqur Rehman, deans, faculty members, and officers also attended the ceremony.
