Humaira Fatima is Assistant Professor of Pharmacognosy in the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Biological Sciences at Quaid-I-Azam University. She has a first degree in Pharmacy, an M.Phil. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, and a PhD in Pharmacognosy. Her research activities are focused on isolation, and characterization of bioactive phytochemicals from ethnomedicinally significant plants.
Dr. Humaira Fatima is the author of over 33 research publications. During her 6 years of teaching and research experience, she has supervised 16 M.Phil. students in Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and is currently supervising 5 PhD research scholars.
