Applications are invited for admission to MBA (2-Years) Evening/Weekend programme on Self Finance Basis (Fall Semester-2017), specially designed for professionals/executives serving in both public/private sectors:

Study Programme/Duration: MBA 2-years Evening/Weekend Programme.
Subject Eligibility Criteria: At least 2nd Division in BCS (4 years), BIT (4 years) MBBS, BE and other non-business 4 years Bachelor degrees.
Last Date for submission of Admission Forms: 08-09-2017
Time Scheme: Weekly Schedule: Five Working Days/Weekend as required
Class Teaching: 05:00pm to 08:00pm/ 10:00am to 04:00 pm


The following are not eligible for admission to MBA (2-Years) Evening/Weekend programme: –

  1. Those who have failed in MBA Programme of this University;
  2. Those who were admitted earlier but later were declared to have been ceased to be students of the university;
  3. Those who already possess a MBA (2-years) or an equivalent degree from this or any other University;
  4. Students who are currently on rolls of the MBA (2-years) Programme of this University or any other University;
  5. Students who have been rusticated or expelled from any university or college for misconduct or use of unfair means in the examinations or any offence involving moral turpitude;

Equivalence Certificates and Conversion of Grades into Marks

  1. Applicants having foreign certificates/degrees shall be required to provide equivalence certificates and conversion of the grades into marks from HEC, Islamabad for 4 years Bachelor level degrees and from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) for Matric and Intermediates
  2. Certificates/Degrees with CGPA of local universities/institutions are also required conversion of grades into marks from the universities/institutions concerned in Pakistan

How To Apply

  • The Admission Forms can be downloaded from the QAU website (click here to download ), along with a Challan of the Habib Bank Ltd. OR Askari Bank Ltd. amounting to Rs.2500/-. Admission Forms are not available at QAU Campus.
  • The applicants are advised to deposit the same in any branch of Habib Bank Ltd. OR Askari Bank Ltd. in favour of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad (with bank charges, non-refundable).
  • The Bank Challan should be attached with the downloaded Admission Form along with other requisite documents, otherwise the application will not be entertained.
  • The applicants are advised to submit/send the downloaded admission form by hand/Courier/Post on the following address: –

Hostel Accommodation

  • The University Hostel accommodations will be provided on availability of seats.

Important Instructions

  1. In case of incorrect/misleading information or concealment of facts, the University shall have a right to refuse/cancel the admission and expel the applicant (student) from the University;
  2. The admission shall be made on the basis of cumulative merit to be determined from previous academic record;
  3. No Objection Certificate from the employer is required to be attached with Admission Form and routed through Proper Channel.
  4. The admitted students will have to submit their original Migration Certificate from the institution last attended within 15-days from the date of admission;
  5. The Admission Form sent by Post/Courier/TCS must reach in the University on or before 08-09-2017;  No Admission Form will be received or entertained after due date in any case.
  6. To avoid any inconvenience please attach all the required documents with the Admission Form within stipulated time/period. However, the last date to submit left-over document (if any) such as Result Cards/Domicile etc. is  11-09-2017;
  7. Please contact on Ph.No.051-90643265 to rectify the errors/mistakes in the data (if any), by11-09-2017 at the latest.
  8. The office of Assistant Registrar (Admission) at the back of (DRSM), Library, QAU will remain open to receive the left over
    1. documents (if any) from Monday-Friday. The applicants may submit their left-over documents by hand with reference to their allotted Registration Number/Tracking ID.
  9. No call letter/phone call shall be made separately for selection; applicants are advised to visit QAU website frequently.
